Sunday/Monday Posts - July 29th and 30th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

Our weather continues to be hot and humid.  I don't mind the hot part, but the humid part feels to swampy and muggy, but it's still better than snow :)

I've had a busy week on the blog.  There's a post everyday.  Next week I just have one scheduled.  I've been trying to make the upcoming schedules a little lighter but it doesn't always happen that way :)

I'm continuing reading some great books.  I finished Purrder She Wrote by Cate Conte and loved it.  Now, I'm reading Our House by Louise Candlish and it's wonderful.

I finally finished watching season 5 of Orange is the New Black on Netflix and I'm about to start season 6.  I had gotten a little board halfway through season 5, but it really picked up towards the end.  Hopefully season 6 will be good.

Other than that it's been a relatively quiet week for me as I continue downsizing my house.  I've been throwing out alot of stuff, but there's still a ways to go.

So, what about you?   Did you read or watch anything really good this past week?  I hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

You have some tempting cozies, too.

Enjoy your week, and I hope you do like Season 6. It took me an episode to catch up with where we are...it's good you just watched Season 5.

  6. Humidity is so gross. I don’t like anything that makes my clothes stick to my skin. I hope it goes away soon. Lots of people have been reading Our House recently. I should look it up and see what the hype is about. Have a good week!

  8. I wish I was motivated to throw out things, but this heat makes me want to do nothing. I have been binge watching the first 2 seasons of This is Us.
