The Weekend Review - September 15th through 17th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Weekend!

I hope everyone in the path of Hurricane Florence is doing okay.  My thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Another busy blog week, plus I managed to read three books.  At least my reading is doing well.  I don't expect that to continue once the new TV season begins, but for now I'm reading so many wonderful books.  I also continue to get Kindle freebies which all look good too.

I finished watching Ozark on Netflix.  It was really good.  I hope we get another season.  Now I'm watching the season finale of Take Two.  The Last Ship just started again, then the fall shows begin in a couple of weeks.

Overall, it's been pretty quiet here.  How are you all doing this week?  Anything new going on?  Hope you have a great upcoming week!

Yvonne

I'm finished reading...

Here are this week's Kindle freebie haul. They were freebies when I got them, I don't know if they still are. Always make sure to check they are still free before buying. The prices change quickly.

These books are coming up for reviews/blog tours in the next couple of months:

  2. Cleo Coyle - I recall reading many of her "coffee" Mysteries years ago. I sort of lost touch with what she had written since.

  8. Loving all the fall and holiday book covers. Yes, fall tv does crimp the reading, but like you I've been curling up and reading. I hope the week ahead is a good one for you and yours.

  9. I’ve been watching too much TV lately, and my reading has definitely suffered. This afternoon I watched a movie instead of writing reviews, so I guess blogging is suffering, too. I’m not too bothered. Sometimes I really need a mental break.

Aj @ Read All The Things!

  12. Great assortment of books. It is almost time for the new season of The Voice which is just about all I watch on TV besides baseball games. I can't wait. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  13. I've got Glitter Bomb and the Cleo Coyle coming up and I'm so excited for both of them! My husband is loving Ozark but I've yet to really try it out. I'm feeling kind of meh on TV this fall. I haven't seen much that really catches my attention for some reason. Hope you're having a great week!
