Sunday/Monday Posts - May 10th and 11th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!  I'm a cat mom, does that count? :)

Last week was a busy one on my blog, but next week is looking busier.  June is extremely busy too.  I never mean to schedule so much...it just kind of happens.  LOL

I'm still behind on my TV shows, but I'm slowly catching up.  I'm so glad we are in "season finale" season because things won't be piling up anymore.  Although...I shouldn't kid myself, I have summer shows I watch too :)  Several of my current shows have been canceled - Forever, Stalker, Revenge, The Following, Resurrection and Mad Men won't be coming back.  So that will give me 6 hours free which I'm sure I can easily fill up :)

As for my reading, I'm trying to get myself more organized and figure out a way to catch up on my NetGalley and Edelweiss books.  It would help if I stayed away from those sites, but I can't help myself.  I always find myself sneaking over there to peek at their new additions.  It's really hard when I sign up for a blog tour and the book is given through one of those sites.  When I go to download it, I just stop and browse all the other selections.  Very dangerous.

I do hope everyone has a great week and read many great books!

Yvonne

  4. I was depressed that Forever was cancelled as I enjoy the show! Thankfully I hadn't started watching this latest season of The Following, so I won't worry about trying to catch up.

    Have a great week!

  8. Death by Coffee looks interesting...and I loved The Guest Cottage.

I know what you mean about NetGalley...I am new there, but found myself requesting so many books, I then had to play catch-up to read and review them.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  11. Sounds like you have been a bit busy. I am behind on my TV watching as well and I am very upset that Forever and Stalker have not been renewed. :( Those are great shows! Always the great shows get cancelled instead of all those stupid comedies or reality TV. :(

Hope you get caught up on your reading..I am way behind as well.

  12. I haven't gotten hooked on NetGalley or Edelweiss yet. I'm sure the time will come. Right now, with the #ShelfLove Challenge, I'm just trying to read what I already own!
