Sunday/Monday Posts - May 3rd and 4th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy May!  Wasn't I just wishing everyone a happy April?  I say this all the time, but time really does fly by.  We're almost at my favorite time of year - summer and the weather is already starting to cooperate.

My reading has slowed down, even my TV viewing has slowed down.  Hopefully it will pick up again.  I have over 50 TV shows on my DVR to watch.  That's crazy and I doubt I'll catch up ever.

I have a few blog tours scheduled in the coming months.  I'm slowing down in that area, too, but not completely.

I hope you are all doing better at this stuff than I am.  Have a great week everyone!

Yvonne

  1. Doesn't your DVR get full if you keep a lot of shows? I have a TiVo (a rarity here in Australia) and I constantly keep so many shows (yet to watch or to watch again) it gets full and I have to delete stuff so I can keep recording.

Apparently I can transfer stuff onto my computer's hard-drive but I'm yet to work out how to do that (and I've had my TiVo for about 4-5 years!)....

  2. Happy May! I agree, the nice weather is (finally) here. The Cozy Cookbook I just saw that in the bookstore yesterday- looks fun. May have topick that up.

    Have a great weekend.

  3. I use on demand and online players like STARZPLAY more than the DVR. And, I just don't watch that much anyway.

I discovered the MC Beaton Agatha Raisin books on the library download system and at least a couple are available if I am out of audio books.

  8. Yes Yvonne, time does fly!

I love the covers of cozies with cats or dogs, they're so cute! I also love the titles like Romeow and Juliet!

Have a great week and enjoy your books!

  9. Deborah - The DVR does get full, but at 50 shows I'm only half full. I still can store another 50 :)
