Teaser Tuesdays - April 12th
Labels:
Teaser Tuesdays
If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week I'm reading...
"My son is stubborn, and you've given him exactly the wake-up call he needed." She patted Heather's hand. "He loves you. Just tuck that knowledge away. He'll come around if you're patient."

Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

Hi Yvonne!
ReplyDeleteHa! A stubborn son, I've one of those. ;) Sounds like a fun read!
Love the cat pic.
Sassy
:)
Hi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteI love a good family saga and this sounds like just the read for a lovely spring day.
Am I correct in assuming that these books can be read as stand-alone stories, even thought the book is advertised as part of a series?
If I add any more to my wish list, I am in serious danger of buying up the whole store someday !!
Yvonne
Wonderful teaser :) I'm joining the club with stubborn sons. I wonder where he gets it from(surely it cannot be from me ;)).
ReplyDeleteAlways good to have his mother on your side!

ReplyDeleteGood teaser, Yvonne! One of these days, I should try this meme. Love the cat pic!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great at the beach read! Are you enjoying this book?
ReplyDeleteYvonne - Yes, they can be read alone. This one is #5 and I haven't read the first 4, but I do have them in my TBR. I'm reading #5 first for a review. I do want to read the rest, though.
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne,
ReplyDeleteTerrific teaser -- I like the cover a lot!
Just wanted to tell you how much I love your name -- lol!
You may very well be my "name twin" on the east coast, except that I've only been married for 20 years and I have four cats :-)
Hope you're enjoying your book. Here's my TT:
