Teaser Tuesdays - September 25th

If you'd like to play along on Teaser Tuesdays, just click the button above.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
* Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week I'm reading...

Kazu Ito was dead. That was the only fact that really mattered, the only fact that had a family in the Seattle suburb of South Renton screaming for justice and weeping for consolation. The rest of the story was a distraction.

  1. I am very curious, now; I love books set in Seattle, and murder mysteries that evoke feelings of justice are my cup of tea.

  2. Intriguing. Is this the opening paragraph? My teaser

  3. I can see how the victim's family would be screaming for justice. The rest of the story wouldn't be important to them! I enjoy stories set in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm looking forward to reading this one.
My teaser is from A STOP IN THE PARK.

  4. I am reading through the Madelyn Alt Bewitching Mystery series. Its excellent writing and fascinating charachters. The writing is so good they are keeping me up at night. I am on the second one, A charmed Death.
    here is my teaser.
"I saw a flash of light in the library. Marcus let go of my arm and tensed in forward movement.

  5. My favorite genre!! Can't wait to read your review!

  6. Terrific Tuesday teaser! This book sounds exciting.

After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.

Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.
