Thank you for stopping by and visiting my blog! I always love reading comments and getting to know my readers!
After some careful consideration, I've decided to become an award-free blog. Although I appreciate and am honored by each and every award I've received, your comments and friendship are enough award for me. Thank you all so much for your thoughtfulness.
Due to way too many spam comments, I disabled the Anonymous User comments. We'll see if this works, otherwise I'll have to go back to word verification.

ReplyDeleteHaven't been there in 36 years:) beautiful area to visit though.
ReplyDeleteLove the bottom photo. So peaceful looking.
ReplyDeleteNow, our 'Lake George' is an often dry lake with sheep grazing on it, on the outskirts of Canberra!!! Nothing at all like your example!
ReplyDeleteMines up as well at AussiePomm - Cymbidium Orchids
Have a great WW!!
Looks like a pleasant place to visit. My Wordless Wednesday
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Wordless Wednesday. I hope you will stop by!
So beautiful and serene.
ReplyDeleteHave not been there for years. Loved that boat ride around the lake, checking out the houses.
ReplyDeleteCaite - I just saw you post above and
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Scotia, NY and my Uncle Bob and Aunt Betty had a summer home at Pilot Knob on Lake George which you would have taken a boat ride and checked out houses!
I loved the picture and it brought back fond memories of going Lake George. My uncle would always give me a ride on his "cabin cruiser" as well as on his sailboat!
The only thing was that the water was FREEZING! You learned to swim really, really fast so you could go in, get cooled off and GET OUT!
They also have great trails nearby for not only walking and climbing but horseback riding as well (and Saratago Race Track is just south of Lake George and "back in the day" had a $2.00 entry fee and a car packed full of teenagers only cost a $1.00 to park!).
Of course when my friends and I used to go to Saratoga I think we spent more time at the No Name bar than the racetrack!
Lake George is one of my favorite places to visit. It's lovely there. Great shots!
