Sunday/Monday Posts: May 22nd and 23rd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday!

Another week has gone by and we are getting closer to summer.  It's hard to believe summer is right around the corner, but I'm looking forward to it.  I don't have any special plans, but I'm just happy to have some sun and warmth :)  It also makes me want to read more, but then again so does the winter.  I guess I just like to read. LOL

I've been doing well with catching up with all my TV season finales.  The Blacklist was one of my favorite finales.  I was a bit disappointed with Survivor, but it was still a good season.  NCIS was a good episode too.  Honorable mentions to Blue Bloods, The Good Wife, Madam Secretary, Chicago Med and Fire...and I still have more to watch.

Not to mention that I have so many good books coming up to read.  I was just going through my lists and it looks like a good summer of reading for me :)  Also a few summer TV shows - Royal Pains, Rizzoli & Isles, and Whispering Pines.  A couple of new shows that look good - Brain Dead and American Gothic.

So, what has everyone else been up to?  Read any good books? Seen any good shows or movies? I hope you all have a great week!

Yvonne

  2. Your new books look tempting...and I am definitely curious about Brain Dead. I will be happy to see Rizzoli & Isles again, too.

I'm wondering if The Affair will return to Showtime?

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  3. It is nice to have some warm weather- finally! I like to read in the summer too- something about relaxing in the sunshine. :) I heard the Blacklist had a good finale although I haven't seen the show.

I liked Caught Read Handed and I see you have Read to Death as well. I should add that one to my TBR...

  4. I want to check out American Gothic as well. I am a little sad that Castle has ended but I think it was time, not sure about liking the ending though as I keep putting it off cause I don't think it ends well. :(

You got a lot of great books on your reading list!

    Happy reading,
