The Friday 56

This is a fun meme to do hosted by Freda's Voice. If you'd like to join on the fun go to The Friday 56.

*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
*Find any sentence that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Link it here.

It's that simple.

Since I'm still reading this one, here's another quote...

From 56% on my Kindle...

Everybody seemed to have confidence in her - except maybe Linny.

  1. I like the title. And the 56, I have less confidence in myself then others do. I guess that's true for most people. I'd love for your readers to check out mine...

  2. Hmm, makes you curious why Linny don't like her confidence. :)

  3. I haven't seen this one around before, but it looks interesting. I wonder whats going on in that scene.

  4. Interesting! I wonder why Linny doesn't have confidence in her? I haven't seen this one before but it looks like a good read and that cover is so summer-y.

  5. Very interesting and the sentence makes you want to know more! Thanks for sharing

  6. What a sweet cover and title...and now I want to know more. Thanks for sharing...and here's mine: “THE BEAUTY OF THE END”

  7. Pulled me in wanting to know more about Linny. Happy weekend!

  8. This sounds like an interesting book. Is Linny lacking confidence in herself, or is Linny someone lacking confidence in a different "her?"

I will have to give this meme a try, too. The book I'm currently reading is over 500 pages long and I'm only on page 2. It will be awhile before I can do this meme again. haha
