Sunday/Monday Posts: July 3rd and 4th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday! Happy 4th of July to those celebrating!

It's an absolutely beautiful summer weekend.  I'm not sure what we are doing this holiday weekend, but I'll be happy to just be relaxing with family.

I haven't been reading as much as I would like to, but I'm enjoying what I'm reading.  I'm also enjoying what I'm watching on TV - The Night Shift, Outlander, and The Last Ship.  I still have to get back to Netflix and finish watching Bloodline and start Orange is the New Black.  Royal Pains is having their series finale this week.  I'll miss that show.  Seems like there are alot of shows ending this year.

I've been busy with blog tours.  Busier than I thought I would be, but most of them are spotlights and giveaways.

Other than that, it's been a quiet summer, which is always nice.

Hope everyone is having a great week and a great summer!

  1. Orange is slow going for me, one ep a week

  2. Happy 4th July. I hope you have (had) a lovely relaxing weekend.

I have to admit I don't participate in many blog tours - am far too lazy!

  3. Oooooh Outlander! I really need to catch up with the rest of this season! I think I've only seen the first three episodes... Great haul! I hope you enjoy your new books!

    Here's my Weekly Recap!

  4. I finished watching Season 4 of OITNB...and wow! Amazing.

But I only watched a few episodes at a time. That's what I can handle, although it's addictive.

    Enjoy...and also Bloodline was good.

Linny's Sweet Dream List looks tempting. Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  5. I didn't realize Royal Pains was still on, lol. I thought it ended already. I want pretty much all of the books in your upcoming pile.:D Enjoy your weekend!

  6. I love the names of the Cozy mysteries! Hope you have a great week!

  7. I hope Read To Death is good. I'd like to get back to that series at some point. And I think At The Edge of Summer might be my next read as I won it in agiveaway.

    Happy 4th!!

  8. It's been pretty hot and steamy here but today it rained most of the day so that was nice and good for my garden. :) Hope you have a great 4th and happy reading!

  11. I really need to start Bloodlines. It looks great! I've got Read to Death on it's way to me and I can't wait. I really liked the previous book. Basically I want all the books that you have coming up so I hope you enjoy them! Have a great week and happy 4th!

  12. Enjoy your reading, and have a wonderful July 4th weekend, Yvonne!

  13. We enjoy Royal Pains too. It's nice to watch something that is a little light and fun alongside so many dark shows!

Happy 4th! I hope you enjoy all of your books this week.

  14. Some great screen watching! I must watch Outlanders, but was so satisfied with the books I am not sure how much I will get into the screen version.

  15. Happy 4th. Reading to Death looks like a great one. I hope you enjoy them. All your books look good. Happy reading and enjoy your week.

  16. I think I'm one of the few people who doesn't watch anything on Netflix >.< Well in my defense the selection of series and movies is pretty limited here anyways :3

    Oh my god, it's Monday!

  17. Hope you had a great 4th. I love popping by your blog...always good for a cat themed cozy or two to put on my radar!
