The Weekend Review - January 16th - 18th

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Hi Everyone!

This has been a busy week on my blog.  I've had something going on every day.  I've also been able to get more reading done this week than last.  I completed three books, which is really good for me.  Maybe this year will turn out to be better after all.

I started to watch the show Snowpiercer on TNT.  I'm binging on the first season and it's good.  The new season starts at the end of January so I'm trying to finish the first season.  I think I only have one or two episodes left.  I still have TV shows on my DVR to watch, but I did watch This Is Us, Chicago MED, PD and Fire.  All were good.

Not much else going on here.  I've just been enjoying my books and TV shows.  So what have you been doing this week?  Read or watch anything exciting? Hope you all have a great week!

  6. My reading week was good too, but there weren't long books. It's funny to see Snowpiercer here and there because originally, it was a French comic :) Have a good week !

  7. Last year I couldn't seem to do anything except read, but I didn't really like anything I read. This year is different. I've already read several books I loved. Let's hope these changes in our reading stay all year.

I'm glad you also have your tv to offer entertainment during this time.

Thanks for the list of Kindle books.

Off to see what you thought about Italian Summer.

  8. I too have been reading more this week! I finished Kings of Ruin (D. Arneson), Murder Mittens (R.J. Blain) and Stone of Fire (J..F. Penn) but my favorite has been 7th Son. Its a podcast book. I listen to many of these, as going anywhere is a 45 minute drive and radio coverage is sporadic. I have seen several here that I look forward to reading! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

  16. Looks like you got some great reading done! I've been trying to get some older review books off my shelf and so far I've really enjoyed all of the ones I've picked up. I've kept my TV watching mostly on the quiet soothing side. Hope you have a great week!

  17. The week got away from me a bit in terms of reading to be honest.
I finished binge watching Vera, then watched Upstairs/Downstairs on Britbox. I’m on the hunt for something else now.

Wishing you a great reading week

  22. Last week was slower on my blog, but this coming week I have a lot scheduled. I tried watching the movie Snowpiercer, partly because I love Chris Evans, but just couldn't seem to get into it. I might try the tv series, because the commercials always look good. Hope you have a good week!
