The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Hi Everyone!
This has been a busy week on my blog. I've had something going on every day. I've also been able to get more reading done this week than last. I completed three books, which is really good for me. Maybe this year will turn out to be better after all.
I started to watch the show Snowpiercer on TNT. I'm binging on the first season and it's good. The new season starts at the end of January so I'm trying to finish the first season. I think I only have one or two episodes left. I still have TV shows on my DVR to watch, but I did watch This Is Us, Chicago MED, PD and Fire. All were good.
Not much else going on here. I've just been enjoying my books and TV shows. So what have you been doing this week? Read or watch anything exciting? Hope you all have a great week!

Glad it's been a good week! Mine picked up too reading- wise after a bit of a lull. Hopefully that will continue haha!
ReplyDeleteI've heard that's a good show, thanks for the reminder- I need to give it a try.
The Broken Spine looks fun.
Sounds like you had a good week! How's those little kitties? Send us some photos again!
ReplyDeleteI had a look at your review for Marion Lane and the Midnight Murder. Still like that one.
Have a good week Yvonne and stay safe!

I am pleased it has been a good, busy week, with lots of books read and received!😊 My week has been good too and I've enjoyed some great books. Take care and more happy reading in the coming week.🙂
ReplyDeleteYAY for a good reading week, Yvonne! I hope you'll continue at a pace that works for you.
ReplyDeleteI haven't started the new season of This is Us yet, and I think I have a few episodes from last season to watch, too.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading :)

Delighted that it's been such a good viewing and reading week, Yvonne. I hope the coming week is just as good:)).
ReplyDeleteMy reading week was good too, but there weren't long books. It's funny to see Snowpiercer here and there because originally, it was a French comic :) Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteLast year I couldn't seem to do anything except read, but I didn't really like anything I read. This year is different. I've already read several books I loved. Let's hope these changes in our reading stay all year.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you also have your tv to offer entertainment during this time.
Thanks for the list of Kindle books.
Off to see what you thought about Italian Summer.
I too have been reading more this week! I finished Kings of Ruin (D. Arneson), Murder Mittens (R.J. Blain) and Stone of Fire (J..F. Penn) but my favorite has been 7th Son. Its a podcast book. I listen to many of these, as going anywhere is a 45 minute drive and radio coverage is sporadic. I have seen several here that I look forward to reading! Have a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteAll of your books look tempting, and The Broken Spine has especially piqued my interest. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're reading finding more time to read. Good luck with this year's goals!
ReplyDeleteThe Bookstore on the Beach looks enticing. :-)
I love Snowpiercer! The new season starts very soon, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder, I need to watch This is Us which I recorded. Blacklist returns Friday :)
ReplyDeleteIt was a good reading week! I think I went through a box of tissue watching This Is Us! Such a good show.
ReplyDeleteI want to watch Snowpiercer! I haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m glad it’s good.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!

Looks like you got some great reading done! I've been trying to get some older review books off my shelf and so far I've really enjoyed all of the ones I've picked up. I've kept my TV watching mostly on the quiet soothing side. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThe week got away from me a bit in terms of reading to be honest.
ReplyDeleteI finished binge watching Vera, then watched Upstairs/Downstairs on Britbox. I’m on the hunt for something else now.
Wishing you a great reading week
I think January is a good time to catch up on books and TV--no big holidays, gloomy weather, etc. I've been seeking solace in books, too. - Melinda @ A Web of Stories
ReplyDeleteNice looking assortment of books. I see some favorite authors. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI liked the Snowpiercer movie, have not seen the show yet. You are having a very busy book month! I am reading Killer Chardonnay this month, I look forward to your blog tour post on a Pairing to Die For
ReplyDeleteThere are a few I have heard of, great variety as usual.
ReplyDeleteLast week was slower on my blog, but this coming week I have a lot scheduled. I tried watching the movie Snowpiercer, partly because I love Chris Evans, but just couldn't seem to get into it. I might try the tv series, because the commercials always look good. Hope you have a good week!
