Press Release

Slick the Cat: The Adventures of a New York City Kitty
Nonfiction Book Available on Amazon

Including—The Cat That Stole Christmas

New York, NY (November 9, 2015) “Slick the Cat: The Adventures of a New York City Kitty,” a nonfiction book, recounts the antics of Slick the cat as he learns to walk on the wild side via a leash, scales the mountains of Vermont, kills Hamlet, sees a cat therapist, and quite literally steals Christmas.

The last thing that TJ Sacks was thinking about was adopting a cat. On the fast-track executive path at a New York public relations agency, she had no idea that a business trip would serve to introduce her to the wonders of a cat

It was his unswerving loyalty, his enormous capacity for love, his hilarious sense of mischief and adventure that helped transform TJ’s life. He taught her that it was alright to let go, to reach for new adventures and to not allow things that you couldn’t control get the better of you.

TJ Sacks, is an award-winning writer and owner of a New York-based public relations/marketing communications agency that bears her name.

Having served as a newspaper reporter, she is an accomplished writer, whose works have appeared in numerous local, regional and national publications. She is cited in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Women.

Today TJ Sacks shares her life with Jonny, the fourth cat to have owned her.

The book is available on Amazon at http://amzn.to/1KWFBzD . It can be read on any device (IOS or Android) or PC with the free Kindle app available on Amazon website.

First Two Chapters Review

The author sent me the first two chapters of the book as I always love cat stories.  This is a very touching one.  I could identify with the author who group up with dogs and had no experience with cats. That's how it was for me and now I'm known as a Cat Lady.  LOL

In the first couple of chapters we read how the author wanted a kitten and the growing pains of getting to know the kitten.  There's so much to learn, but it's all worth it.

The author's love of cats comes through in the first couple of chapters and I'm sure it gets stronger with the rest of the book.  I can already tell she has a wonderful storytelling voice.
