Sunday/Monday Posts - November 1st and 2nd

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host!  It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!

I'm also linking to  Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.

Happy Sunday and Happy November!

I've been missing from the blog this week as I was away on vacation in Florida.  I had a great time and now it's back to reality and back to the cold weather.  Well, it's not really too bad yet, but we all know it's coming.  It's hard for me to believe that it's November already...the holidays will be here soon and another year will arrive.  It's just going by all too fast for my liking.

Anyway, I did manage to finish a couple of books this week.  Although I'm totally behind on writing my reviews and setting up my blog tours.  I guess that's what I'll be doing in the next couple of days.  I also have a fun interview set up with the authors of Hollywood Celebrates the Holidays.  A great book.  The interview was quite fun, too.  I will post that some time this week.

I, also, have many good books waiting for me to read.  I'm looking forward to those.  I'm going to make some decisions about the reading challenges I'll be hosting next year.  I know I'll definitely be cutting back on the number of challenges I'll be joining.  There's just not enough hours in a day to do everything.

Thanks to my vacation, my TV schedule is all backed up too.  I need better time management skills.  LOL  But, I'll get there :)

So, what's everyone been up to this week?

Yvonne

  2. It's always hard to come back from Florida, especially when the cold weather is coming! I can't believe it's November either, and talking about Thanksgiving and the holidays. Good grief. Good luck getting caught up! :)

I enjoyed your Guaranteed to Bleed review. I totally agree and really like that series.

  3. I read a book by Staub this week: The Perfect Stranger. And I downloaded The Deep End, so I'm sure Guaranteed to Bleed will not be far behind.
