The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
Happy Mother's Day to all those celebrating! I hope you have a beautiful day!
I had a good week. I finished two books and they were both good ones. With the weather being so humid, I've decided to table audiobooks for awhile, but I still wanted to finish the Agatha Raisin book that I was listening to. So, I borrowed the e-book from the library and will continue reading it. It's really so good. I love this series.
The TV season is winding down. Only a few more episodes left and then I hope to concentrate only on my reading. With the writer's strike going on, I have no idea when the next season of new episodes will begin anyway.
I watched a Tom Hanks' movie, A Man Called Otto. It was so good.
Other than that, things have been the usual. How have things been in your part of the world? I hope you all have a great week!
So nice to have a good reading week! Yes! I like A Man Called Otto as well. Backman is one of my favorite authors! Isn’t Nora Roberts one who seems to always write good books? Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day! The agatha Raisin book looks fun. With that writers strike we're all going to have to stock up on books :)
ReplyDeleteWe saw A Man Named Otto last week, too. Tom Hanks showed us a person who was closed off from the world after his wife died. It took the persistence of others to get through to him. An important story, I think.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reads this week!

Happy Mother's Day! I must read an Agatha Raisin story. I must. I must!
ReplyDeleteHaven't see Man Called Otto yet - maybe over Memorial weekend when I have extra days off. Hope you enjoy that interesting looking collection of books!

I haven't seen a Man Called Otto yet, but hopefully we will soon. You can't go wrong with Agatha Raisin either... they're fun reads. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteEven though we have our books to read, I really hope things are resolved soon with the writer's strike. Have a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll have to check out that Tom Hank's film.
ReplyDeleteI'm about to start Hard Dough Homicide and am looking forward to it! I have Identity coming up and am so looking forward to that one. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering when the fall season will premier as well. It sounds like this strike could last quite a while, so I'm guessing it will be delayed. Maybe I'll get to some of the TV on DVD sets I've been wanting to rewatch.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry it's too humid to walk outside. I listen to audiobooks at home while playing computer games. I don't have to worry about the weather to enjoy my stories. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat you got two books read. Pity about weather and audiobooks but maybe find another way of fitting them in!
