The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now being hosted by Deb at Readerbuzz.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Reading Reality.
Hi Everyone!
For those celebrating Memorial Day, I hope you are having a wonderful celebration. We're not doing much here but the weather is starting to get better.
It's hard to believe May is just about over. The month really went fast for me. I only finished one book this week and, overall, only 6 for May. Hopefully my reading time will be better now that the regular TV season is over. I only have one show still left on the air which is The Blacklist. That one is going to run through the summer.
I hope you all have a great week.
Happy Memprial Day! It's finally feeling like summer :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is! Happy Memorial Day to you too!
DeleteMay IS going by fast! Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. You too!
DeleteI've got a couple of shows that are still running until the end of June. Then, it might just be American Ninja Warrior for a while. We'll see if anything else pops up this summer. And who knows when scripted shows will come back with the strike going on.
ReplyDeleteSo true. I'm thinking we may be in for many reality and game show type of shows for awhile.
DeleteI love the titles of your book tour books. Have a good week.

Cozy mysteries have some of the best titles. You have a good week too.
DeleteI enjoyed Identity. On Memorial Day I'm just reflecting on family members we lost, especially my Uncle who died in Vietnam. Here's my SP; https://bonniereadsandwrites.com/2023/05/28/sunday-post-working-away/
ReplyDeleteIdentity was a good one. I hope you have a great week!
DeleteI don't watch much TV as a rule but hubby & I started binge watching all the seasons of West Wing and just finished last night. I feel like I have my life back! Happy reading this summer! Those first 4 books look like an interesting series. And the Paper Ghost book recommended by your friend sounds really good - off to take a look. Have a terrific week.

DeleteI haven't read Nora Roberts' Identity - I hope you enjoyed it, Yvonne. Have a great week:).
ReplyDeleteIt was really a good book. Have a great week!
DeleteI'll often listen to Nora Robert's novels by her pseudonym mystery novels. They find great audio narrators for them.
ReplyDeleteThat's the JD Robb series? I started reading that one years ago but never finished. I should go back to it and listening to it sounds like a great idea.
DeleteNice book haul! I agree, this May has really flown by! We are not doing much this weekend either (thankfully!). Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThis year feels like it is going by ridiculously fast!
ReplyDeleteI bet your reading will improve after tv season is over.
I'm hoping to read The Little Italian Hotel this summer, too.
I hope you're enjoying the Memorial Day weekend, Yvonne! And that you're able to read more in June. I'm glad you enjoyed Identity; I thought it was really good. Have a great week!
ReplyDelete(Whoops, I'm not sure my comment posted. Let me try again.)

ReplyDeleteThis year sure is flying by and so is the last season of The Blacklist.
ReplyDeleteViewing can cut into reading but I view mostly at night when I am too tired to read anyway.
ReplyDeleteMay really went by fast.

ReplyDeleteIt might be a long wait til some of our favourite tv shows return, so you will probably have plenty of time to read more.

With the baseball season in full swing, I'm watching lots more television than usual and reading less. I think I need to adjust my goals because I'm feeling frustrated. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI don't know where May went either, but I have been a fog these last couple of months.
ReplyDeleteMay seemed to really fly by! It's been a weird few months really. Enjoy your reading. I'll be starting Hiss Me Deadly soon and am really looking forward to it. Have a great week!

You have some great looking titles to read. I haven't read many books in a while, but after only two in April, I did finish seven in May.
