Musing Mondays -

This week’s musing asks…

What’s the last thing you stayed up half the night reading because it was so good you couldn’t put it down?

My answer...

You know, I can't think of one book that made me stay up half the night reading. Oh, I've had plenty of books that I rated 5 stars and given my Socrates Great Book Alert award to, but none of those books were books I stayed up all night reading. I think it's because I just can't physically stay up all night reading anymore. I guess I have to chalk it up to age...okay, now I'm sad. I remember when there were books I absolutely could not put down and read them all night. These days I have read books I couldn't put down, but not when it came to losing sleep. LOL Maybe I just need more sleep now.

Suddenly this turned into a depressing topic. LOL

  1. Oh, it's nothing to feel bad about! I'm usually pretty good about not staying up late for books, just because I hate being sleep-deprived too :)

Here's my Musing Mondays (June 13) post!

  4. I don't necessarily stay up to read a book, it is the fact that I have insomnia I stay up and read. I guess that says I'm getting older also.

  5. I haven't played "musing" in awhile, but when I read the question, I knew I had to....since that staying up reading thing happened to me this week! (And I can't stay awake all night usually, either).
