The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It's a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
If you'd like to participate with The Sunday Salon, it is now a Facebook group.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is a meme with a new host! It's now being hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. This is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
I'm also linking to Stacking The Shelves which is hosted by Team Tynga's Reviews.
Happy Sunday!
Unseasonably warm weather here and I'm enjoying it. It doesn't feel like winter, but it's not officially winter yet anyway.
I've been going through all my challenges from this year and deciding on my challenges for next year. I've joined a six so far and I have two of my own that I'm hosting and participating in. So, that makes eight for 2016, but I know there are at least two more that I want to join. I'm gearing my challenges mainly towards my favorite genre - cozy mysteries and catching up on reviews whether I got them through NetGalley, Edelweiss or otherwise. I'll also be doing the Goodreads challenge if they have one for 2016. I don't think I'm going to make my goal of 100 books for 2015, but I'm still trying.
I've been busy on my blog this week...busier than I thought I'd be. Hopefully it will all start to get less busy but that never happens :)
I'm pretty much caught up with all my TV shows. I figure that means I can settle in and do some reading.
I do hope you are all having a great week and the holiday time of year isn't too crazy for you. Have a great week next week!
Yvonne

What was your week like? What are you reading this week?
Warm here too. All that snow is long gone
ReplyDeleteI know I'll always find more fun cozies when I visit your blog! Been wrapping up my challenges and looks like I completed all of them. I'll probably only do a few next year. Maybe add others as I go along.

Good point about winter! It's still fall... :) I'm sorta caught up on shows, problem is I keep adding ones.
ReplyDeleteI clicked on your spotlight of Pouncing on Murder and enjoyed the guest post. Northwest lower Michigan is a favorite area of mine, and I've been to Hartwick Pines state park. So it was nice to see... :)
I'm taking a break from challenges next year but am going to try to keep a notebook to keep up with certain aspects of my reading to see if I can get better about keeping up with them so we'll see.
ReplyDeleteBun for Your Life sounds really good and I like the look of To Brew or Not to Brew. Yay for getting caught up on TV! Have a great week!
Yarned and Dangerous looks great...gorgeous cover. Enjoy...and have fun with your blog tours.
ReplyDeleteHere are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
You always find the neatest cozies. Good luck deciding the other challenges. I generally stick to 2 or 3 and then do mini ones.
ReplyDeleteI always go crazy with challenges and this year I have three I am cohosting and one that I cohost that is biannual...I think I am crazy...but I love it....lol. :)

Yvonne you're sounding very organised and on top of things - so I'm envious.
ReplyDeleteI'm also too lazy to participate in challenges but enjoy living vicariously through those who do! ;-)
Warm, humid and raining all the time here!
ReplyDeleteTaking Leaps and Finding Ghosts was a good one--hope you enjoy it. And I'm currently reading Murder Fir Christmas, tool.
ReplyDeleteSetting a GoodReads goal is the only challenge I do each year. This year I started at 250, blew past it, raised it to 275 and blew past it. My goal is currently 300 and I am at 298 today. I don't think I'll up the goal again though. Here is what I did last week. Happy reading
ReplyDeleteI'm finishing up my challenges too, and figuring out what I'll do for 2016. I have flagged by at least three for this year I won't complete. I know they are not everyones cup of tea, but I enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteI'll be reading and reviewing Murder Fir Christmas too. Happy reading.

I am going through my challenges too. I am surprised I did so well this year. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!!
We are having muggy weather as there's supposed to be rain coming Thursday. You have a lot going on. It's fun to read about the different reading challenges out there. It's like knitting and all these KALS (knit-a-longs) out htere.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Yarned and Dangerous. Such pretty colors.
ReplyDeleteMy blog keeps me busy too. :)
Have a great week.
