The Friday 56

This is a fun meme to do hosted by Freda's Voice. If you'd like to join on the fun go to The Friday 56.

*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56 or 56% in your eReader.
*Find any sentence that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Link it here.

It's that simple.

I had a hard time finding a 56 today. Page 56 had nothing, neither did 65. So, I ended up with a line from page 156.

I was too exhausted to think about it anymore. I didn't even bother washing my face or brushing my teeth.

  1. I have that problem some times trying to find something witty or fun on page This sounds like a good book. :)

  2. Oh, yes, when I feel like that, I know I am really tired! Thanks for sharing...and here's mine: “SECRET SISTERS”

  3. I wonder what has made the character so tired. This week I am spotlighting The Secrets of the Heart by Kasey Michaels which had gotten lost on my TBR mountain. Happy reading!

  4. I can relate to that snippet. I have certainly had days where I just want to fall over and not get up for anything. Happy Friday!

  5. That excerpt describes how I felt last week! Glad that's behind me. To Brew Or Not To Brew sounds like a book I'd enjoy.
My Friday post features THE LOCKET.

  6. I can so relate to that 56! It's kind of the way of things during the holidays. This book is on my TBR. It looks like a fun read.

  7. Aaw. Such a sweet cover. Boy, I can relate to that excerpt right now. What a killer week it's been at work. LOL
