Just for Fun Reading Challenge 2014 - Wrap Up

I'm very excited because I was actually able to complete this challenge.  I read at least one book a month just because I wanted to.  Not for a review or blog tour.  This challenge is hosted by Lori from Escape With Dollycass on Goodreads.

Here are the books I read...

JANUARY - Stealing Home by Jennifer Seasons (Click here for review)

FEBRUARY - 1105 Yakima Street by Debbie Macomber (Click here for review)

MARCH - The Diva Takes the Cake by Krista Davis (Click here for review)

APRIL - Nine Lives Last Forever by Rebecca M. Hale (Click here for review.)

MAY - How To Moon A Cat by Rebecca M. Hale (Click here for review.)

JUNE - Crazy VA by Shannon Hill (Click here for review.)

JULY - Free Agent by Roz Lee (Click here for review.)

AUGUST - 1225 Christmas Tree Lane by Debbie Macomber (Click here for review.)

SEPTEMBER - The Cats That Surfed the Web by Karen Anne Golden (Click here for review.)

OCTOBER - When First They Met by Debbie Macomber (Click here for review.)

NOVEMBER - A Slice of Murder by Chris Cavender (Click here for review.)

DECEMBER - Mistletoe in Manhattan by Talli Roland (Click here for review.)

I'm not sure if I'm going to do this again next year, but I did enjoy this year's challenge.

2014 Foodies Reading Challenge - Wrap Up

I love this reading challenge and one of the few that I seem to be able to complete each year. I find that many of the cozies I read are set around food. I hope this challenge will be back in 2015, too. It's hosted by I'd Rather Be At The Beach

2014 Netgalley Reading Challenge Completed - Wrap Up

2014netgalleychallenge

I signed up to do the 11-15 level and I completed it.  I'm nowhere near what I should be at Netgalley as far as my feedback ratio goes, but at least I completed this challenge :)  Here's what I read....

Clean Sweep ARC Reading Challenge and May Wrap Up Post

Clean Sweep ARC Challenge May 2014

May is over and I did fairly well...at least for me...

Here's what I read for the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge:

Hanging By A Hair by Nancy J. Cohen
Guidebook to Murder by Lynn Cahoon
Murder Is Academic by Lesley A. Diehl
Healing Her Heart by Audra North (review to be posted during the blog tour on June 3rd)
The Yankee Way by Willie Randolph
Uncharted by Tracey Garvis-Graves
All Things Murder by Jeanne Quigley (review to be posted during the blog tour on June 6th)

and added to my May count, but not for the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge is...

How to Moon A Cat by Rebecca M. Hale

So, that makes 7 books for the Clean Sweep ARC Challenge.  I wanted to read 10 but 7 isn't bad.  Plus, I did a couple from NetGalley and Edelweiss, so that helped especially since they were books I've been dying to read anyway.

My total for May is 8 books which also isn't bad.  I usually do a few more when I read audios, but no audios this month.

November 2013 - Monthly Wrap Up

I haven't been doing a monthly wrap up lately, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.  Here are the books I read in November...

Mayhem at the Orient Express by Kylie Logan
Just Add Spice by Carol E. Wyer
Joyfully Yours by Amy Lamont
Dare to Love by Carly Phillips
Murder, She Barked by Krista Davis
Catnapped by Patricia Fry
Whips, Cuffs, and Little Brown Boxes by Kathryn Long (Review to be posted next week.)

So that makes 7 books for November.  Not great, but not horrible either.

According to Goodreads, I've read 86 books.  My goal was 100 books for 2013.  I seriously doubt I will be getting there with only a month left to the year but that's okay.  I intend to set the same goal for next year and try again :)

As for my challenge status...

So far, for 2013, I completed these challenges:

2013 Romance Reading Challenge
What An Animal Reading Challenge VI
2013 ARC Reading Challenge
2013 Library Reading Challenge
2013 Ebook Challenge
Foodie's Read 2013 Reading Challenge
Cruisin' thru the Cozies Reading Challenge 2013

These are the challenges I still have left...

2013 A to Z Reading Challenge (4 books left)
2013 Embarrassment of Riches TBR Reading Challenge (I signed up for 12 and haven't read any!)
2013 What's in a name Reading Challenge (Only 1 book left)
2013 Where Are You Reading? Challenge (23 out of 50 left)
2013 Why Buy the Cow? Challenge (10 left)
Finishing the Series Reading Challenge 2013 (2 left - I can't even complete my own challenge!)

There's only one of these challenges that I think I have a legitimate chance to complete - What's in a name - but I don't even think I'll complete that one.  Still, I'm not unhappy with what I've completed.  It's not perfect and only "so-so", but I had fun with these challenges and I'll be back again in 2014.  LOL

Now, hopefully I remember to do a December wrap up :)

Monthly Wrap Up - May

Wow, half the year is already over...talk about time flying...I have been bad with my monthly updates, but here's what I read in May...

Smokin' Seventeen by Janet Evanovich (audio)
Killer in Crinolines by Duffy Brown
Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich (audio)
Cat Trick by Sofie Kelly
Lucky Bastard by Deborah Coonts
Notorious Nineteen by Janet Evanovich (audio)
What A Mother Knows by Leslie Lehr

I'm up to a total of 35 books for the year. My goal is 100 and I doubt I'll make it, but there's still time :)

A look at my progress with reading challenges...

Still need to complete...

A to Z Reading Challenge - need 9 more books
ARC Reading Challenge - need 1 more book
Foodie's Reading Challenge - need 2 more books
E-Book Reading Challenge - need 6 more books
Embarrassment of Riches TBR Reading challenge - Haven't even started, need to read 12 (doubt I will do this)
Library Reading Challenge - need 1 more book
What's in a Name Reading Challenge - need 3 more books
Where Are You Reading Challenge - need 34 more books
Why Buy the Cow Reading Challenge - need 11 more books
Finish the Series Reading Challenge - need 3 more books
Cruisin' the Cozies Reading Challenge - need 4 more books

I know this seems like a lot but many of these challenges overlap with each other. I think I'll be able to complete at least a few of these.

I already completed:

What An Animal Reading Challenge
Romance Reading Challenge

So, how was your May?
