The Friday 56

This is a fun meme to do hosted by Freda's Voice. If you'd like to join on the fun go to The Friday 56.

*Grab a book, any book.
*Turn to page 56.
*Find any sentence that grabs you.
*Post it.
*Link it here.

It's that simple.

This week I'm reading...

From page 57 (page 56 was a page between chapters with just a title on it) of the ebook version... Sorry, but I always feel I need to give more than just the one sentence required :)

Paul had loved that his father drove a school bus. At first, he got picked on about it. Kids would poke him and yell, "Your daddy has to drive you to school!" but eventually, like all children, they forgot about their taunting and moved on to something better to torment."

  1. Oh, I really used to dread those early school days and the perpetual teasing...glad that's over! LOL

    Sounds like a good book.

  2. I can relate. We used to tease the heck out of our school bus driver's kids.

    Thanks for participating!

  3. Great Friday 56, it also brings back lots of memories from school days. Thanks for sharing!
